FAQ

Q: What does “Alkalized” Cocoa powder mean?
A: Alkalized cocoa is cocoa solids that have been treated with an alkalizing solution to reduce the natural acidity of cocoa, giving it a less bitter taste (and darker colour). It also helps to increase solubility for easier water dissolution (avoiding cocoa chunks). Alkalizing agents employed vary, but typically include potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate, and/or sodium hydroxide.

Q: Can this collagen be mixed into anything hot or cold? Baking is fine?
A: Yes, all options are good. However, the experience is enhanced when served hot/warm.

Q: Why is monk fruit and stevia both used?
A: Monk fruit and stevia both are natural sweeteners with 0 sugars and calories. Each sweetener imparts a different type of “sweet.”  We found that the combination of both provides a full sweetness sensation that mimics the one that comes from regular sugar. 

Q: Can you provide the nutritional facts? (Macros and nutrients)?
A: Per 1 scoop (12g) you will get 0.4g fat, 2g carbohydrates (0g sugar), 8g protein
